RH: All the Right Moves…For Now Wed, 22 Nov 2017 20:02:00 +0000 It's been a banner year for RH (RH), with the luxury furnishings maker's stock climbing 223.5% since the start of 2017, thanks to upbeat earnings and a brighter holiday outlook for retail, even with the threat of Amazon's (AMZN) foray into home furnishings hanging over the sector. Cowen & Co.'s Oliver Chen and his team reiterated a Market Perform rating on the stock Wednesday (although they nearly doubled their price target, from $61 to $115) following RH's investor day. Chen writes that RH is making the right moves to position itself for long-term growth: He likes that management is focusing on driving sustainable free cash flow (enough to repay convertible notes in cash and improve its balance sheet), as well as its shift in real estate category, from leasing to a new sales & leaseback model that should be less capital intensive.
