Also See Our Q&A Page.Q: Hello,
I have been looking at your web site and I like what I see. I myself trade in some way in the same format.
This would save me a lot a time looking for stocks to find and to trade. I would like to know if you have a rough
average return of the total return for three years of trading all of the "A" rated picks. If you had $10,000 for three
years invested could your trading system put out a of 35% ?
Thank you, A: That's a tough question to answer - it would depend on the holding period for each stock. We don't not buy and hold, so we have no idea of the long term (3 year) returns of our "A" rated picks. You can see our Performance page, and see how our picks performed over a 6 month period. Performance is best optimized by force feeding (averaging up) into positions that are working better than others. This again complicates matters.
So the short answer is we don't know. All we know is that approx 60% of all our picks to date went up at least 20% over a 6 month period. Some of these went up 50%,100% or more in the same time period. The remaining 40% went down, sometimes quite a lot. We use a 10% stop-loss to get us out of losing positions.
Best regards,
