Q: How do I get short plays?

A: We are not finding too many short opportunities right now. We short when the stock is more than 100-150% above its 200 day MA, or in some cases when the stock breaks below its 50 day MA on strong volume, after an uptrend. Our "Predefined Screens" section has two short screens - Extended Stocks and Down on Heavy Volume. You could check these out.

Also, our Daily Market Report has a section on Short Plays, which looks for the +100% above 200 day MA condition or the Breaking Below 50 day MA on Strong Volume condition.
